One of my favorite memories is from one of our beach trip, when something happened to your vehicle and you couldn't leave. You were all packed up, quite an enterprise in and of itself, and then something went kaflooie. I think you guys are familiar with days like that! Anyway, y'all came back up to the condo, and the girls, Kinsey, Christie, and Sandra, entertained Kristopher and the rest of us. His laugh brought such joy into what could have been a pissy situation. Even Rebecca managed some smiles, tee hee! Eventually you were on your way back to PA, carrying some Carolina sand and lots of Carolina love with you. We miss you, sweet Kristopher.
I have known Maureen and her family for many years now and her commitment to Kristopher continues to amaze me. Kristopher was a very lucky young man to have such a dedicated and caring mom. As Maureen's family continues to grow so does her dedication to her kids and their special needs. Although her life can be hectic and chaotic (most of the time actually), I don't think she would have it any other way. I am truely honored to call Maureen my friend and to have known Kristopher. Maureen,
I am honored to know people that have dedicated their lives to so many. Kristopher not only blessed the people in his life, but the many that continue to live. May God continue to give you thestrength that you need to do what you do best!
Kristopher and I sang many songs and shared much laughter. He had the best sense of humor! Because of the Foundation he will be remembered and will continue to bring happiness and laughter to others.
Maureen,
I think what your doing is a wonderful thing and I really had never made up my mind about being a donor for sure until lately and I plan to be a donor to give someone else life after mine.
You truly are a wonderful person and you have the biggest heart that I know. Maureen it really shows just what kind of a person you are and for you to want to give life back to someone else and not let your selfishness stand in the way of your personel feelings that is remarkable.
Thank you for making me make up my mind about being a donor.

Hello,
I used to work with Kristopher in 1995. Though I hadn't seen him since he was very small, I instantly recognized him when I saw his photo. I was browsing through an internet search on organ donation when I found this site.
I want to tell you that I am very sorry for your loss. I was very saddened to read that Kristopher had passed on. Kristopher was always such a bright spot in my day! I can still see him singing "You are my sunshine"...he was a precious boy.
My 12 year old son had a liver transplant in May 2008. I thank God every day that there was someone like Kristopher who was so generous.
What a wonderful thing you have done with this foundation!
Thank you and take care.

Dearest Kris,
Yesterday your family honored you by accepting an invitation from CORE to speak on your behalf at the PA Collaborative. It was an easy thing to do because we all love you so much.We were pretty pleased with how it turned out. There is still so much work to do to help people understand just how important it is to give the gift of life. Your are our force, our strength and our motivator .We miss you so very much.Being involved with CORE and the kristopherkingfoundation keeps us going.
Love,
Maureen
Family thank you so much for all that you are doing to raise awareness of pediatric organ donation. Kristopher will always live on in your hearts through your labor of love. Prayerfully through you, others will come to understand the gift of giving. Your family gives so unconditionally in all that devote your time to, and to the children that you care for. I am truly blessed to have gotten to know all of you. I am grateful and richly blessed because you have allowed me to share in your lives. Love you all.
